Pinecrest Forest is 18 private acres of uniquely mixed new growth forest on former farm lands that have been re-growing for close to 100 years. It is a mix of native and unique trees offering home to birds that are just as diverse. Located in a busy migratory path, the forest offers temporary shelter to many species along with it's resident woodpeckers, abundant chickadees, hawks and owls.
Cyclists, hikers, skiers, readers and daydreamers will all appreciate the beauty of the property and the Millbrook Valley Trails accessed directly from the property. Head out on a road trip to take in local sites and support the many farm stands and small businesses that offer wonderful products, art, theatre and food. For water lovers, visit nearby beaches, rivers and lakes.
Our guests stay in a cabin that is fully equipped for an overnight or week-long stay, surrounded by the tranquility of the forest and the amenities of home. It is in fact a Tiny House and offers all you will need to be comfortable. Cabin visitors have access to a trail on the property that takes you to the public hiking/biking trails.
